Tiqa Cafe & Bakery - How We Do Portland Maine

If you’re looking for a great lunch meeting spot, or just a place to kick back, relax, and enjoy some fresh air…head to Deering Oaks Park, and look for the “castle” near the corner of Forest Ave & State Street.

The owners of Tiqa Restaurant on Commercial Street were handed the keys to this historic building in early 2016, and we absolutely love what they’ve created here!

Swing by in the morning for fresh bagels, baked goods, breakfast sandwiches, and of course, local coffee (from Coffee by Design), or in the afternoon for sandwiches, salads, or just a sweet fix with a scoop of gelato.

If you’re like me, and always plotting your next meal, you probably won’t be able to resist their fresh baked focaccia, pitas, olive sourdough, or other assorted deliciousness to go with dinner!

And yeah, grab a bottle of prosecco to go with that sammie, then blow off a little steam with a game of cornhole. Nobody is judging…in fact…we’ll probably join you!
